The Morgan School is the high school that serves Clinton’s 9th - 12th grade population. It is a comprehensive high school offering a full range of academic classes, sports, programs, clubs and activities. In addition to core courses, students may choose from a variety of electives in the areas of business, consumer & family science, technology education, art, music, foreign language or the marketing and retailing program.
School spirit is evident, and students participate in numerous clubs and become active players on many school teams. The Student Volunteer Service Program at the school provides service to young and old alike. The Interact Club, Toys for Tots, Student Council, Make a Wish Program, and other student-run activities provide additional opportunities for serving the school and the community. The percentage of students taking the SAT remains high and continues to surpass the state average as do the average scores students earned in both the math and verbal sections of the test.
Through the efforts of parent volunteers and local businesses, a successful drug and alcohol-free graduation party has become a welcome tradition for Morgan graduates.
Founded in 1870, The Morgan School is one of the oldest high schools in Connecticut. A proud tradition of excellence is to be found in all of the programs of this outstanding comprehensive high school. Whether in the humanities, the sciences, mathematics, social studies, the arts or vocational and technological studies, Morgan has an educational option for every student.
